Watch as top Aussie and Kiwi bots fight their way to the finals in full-combat Featherweight (13.6kg) and Sportsman Heavyweight (113kg) battles. Expect sparks, flips, and plenty of destruction! Note: Only the Friday and Saturday 7pm sessions will have a heavyweight fight

FAQs

  • There will be 13.6kg robots with open weapons, and 113kg robots with restricted weapons fighting at this event.

    For reference, the robots that fight at our club days and build & fight public events are around 1.3kg. End Game (World Champion BattleBot) is in the 113kg weight class.

  • Each session is expected to be between 1.5-2 hours. The length is flexible due to unknown damages to robots, and the event schedule.

  • Yes! Our custom-built robot fighting arena will keep the robots contained.

  • Robot fighting can be quite loud (they are like little car crashes!). We recommend bringing some form of ear protection for those with sensitive ears.

  • Yes! Register your robot and read all the entry rules and regulations here.

  • Yes! We will have all your favourite event food (hot chips, nuggets, pizzas, hot dogs etc.) along with refreshing drinks available for purchase.
